Hi I’m Ben, I recently completed my MSc in Marine Vertebrate Ecology and Conservation having achieved my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter.
I am a keen surfer and am passionate about all things marine as well as conservation and ecology. I have a background in studying coral and algal diversity in the Bahamas, bumble bee behavior, in addition to marine mammal rescues with aspirations to engage in community-based conservation projects.
Whilst it is important to be educated on the threats our planet faces, I believe that there is a strong need to support positive ecological news to help manage widespread climate anxiety and show that successful outcomes are being reached.
I aim to deliver positive news articles and encourage a grass-roots approach to conservation projects that work with local communities to develop sustainable goals.
